| It was almost dawn when the Ro-ro docked at the pier at Kawit. As the boat approached the island, one could see the familiar palm trees almost covering the entire length of Marinduque. A cool breeze could be felt through the balmy atmosphere and almost instantaneously those who are coming home knew that they were back in the land of their childhood days. A chill came down their spine and their hearts beat faster as they were suddenly transformed to the memories of their past. |
